Supermarket guru Feargal Quinn died today at the age of 82.
In 2013 Superquinn after over 50 years of trading became Supervalu. Henry McKean visited the founder Feargal Quinn who sold the supermarket chain in 2005 for €420 million. Over the last few decades some of the biggest supermarket players have gone, names like H Williams, Roches Stores, Quinnsworth, Crazy Prices, have been sold or have closed.
