Northern Ireland Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill has said the fight against Covid 19 should be done on an all Ireland basis.

Northern Ireland had 1,217 new cases in the last 24 hours. The 6 counties are closing restaurants and businesses for 4 weeks from Friday and schools will close for 2 weeks from Monday, a week longer than planned for mid term.

Henry McKean has travelled to border county Monaghan and market town Newry.
