We have been clapping for carers but what about binmen? There are 5000 people working in the waste industry collecting bins from 1 million Irish homes. Children have been writing thank you notes and leaving them on their bins, housewives have being leaving boxes of chocolates and clapping. We decided to celebrate binmen and sent Henry McKean to have a chat with Panda Recycling, remember how important waste collection is in a crisis, lets all celebrate binmen keeping rats and Covid 19 at bay.
