Following Team Ireland’s recent success at the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi, Special Olympics Ireland is calling on the public to support future champions, as the charity today is having it's biggest fundraiser of the year.
Off the back of Ireland’s World Games success, Special Olympics Ireland smashed its initial target of 3,000 volunteers for this week’s Annual Collection Day; over 4,000 people will take to the streets of towns and cities across Ireland today, to help the charity in its bid to raise over €500,000 in vital funding.
