Katherine Zappone the Children's Minister has today said it would have been wrong for her to not tell parents to seek assurances before sending their children on overnight trips with Scouting Ireland. But what do the 50,000 grass roots scouting think of the last few weeks of cancelled scout camps, child safety, historical sexual abuse accusations and negative headlines about the Irish scouting movement.
Henry McKean visited the 45th Mount Argus Scout Group in Harold's Cross Dublin and met 15 year old scout Sam and his scout leader mum Susan.
