According to a new Cambridge study, Northern accents in the UK could start dying out within the next 45 years as a result of the dominance of standard southern English.

Could this potentially happen here in Ireland? Will we be saying goodbye to the Donegal Accent, Louth accent or Kerry accent?  Independent TD for Kerry Michael Healy Rae, Calvin O'Brien from Go Loud's 'Talking Bollox' podcast, and Ireland AM Presenter and former Irish Rugby Player Tommy Bowe chatted to Andrea. Other callers got in touch too to share their stories.
