Several callers and texters contacted me this week about the 'RTÉ Investigates: Greyhounds Running for their Lives’ programme. The programme highlighted that up to 6,000 greyhounds are being killed each year because they are just not good enough competitors. There is a petition calling for a ban on greyhound racing which has gathered over 5 thousand signatures. So should greyhound racing be banned?
