New proposals for the primary education framework could mean drastic changes for primary education in Ireland. The plans drafted by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment mean that children could soon be studying a foreign language by the time they are in third class. Other proposals include more time dedicated to studying wellbeing, PE, digital learning and social, personal & health education.
