Yesterday on the show we talked to Clare councillor Ann Norton. She has raised the issue of heavy school bags – a problem that hasn’t gone away since Covid-19. 

There was a huge response on our text lines from parents, students and teachers concerned about the serious weight being carried around by children and teens.  

What is your experience? Are your children expected to carry a huge amount of books and school supplies into school everyday?
