School managers warned parents from ‘bubble-wrapping’ their children as it can damage young people’s mental health. 

The Oireachtas Committee on Education discussed the issue of school bullying and mental health on Tuesday.  

Richard Hogan is director of therapy institute, columnist with Irish examiner and author of best-selling book ‘Parenting the Screenager’ - he talked to Andrea about the issue. 

Andrea then spoke to parents Eoin and Grainne about helicopter parenting and whether it is an issue in Irish society.
