Archbishop Eamon Martin has expressed concern over the effects of drugs and alcohol on our small towns and villages.

He has said it is time for Irish society to "reignite a temperance movement" to address the "terrible impact" alcohol and drugs has on us as a society.

With measures being undertaken to introduce a minimum unit pricing for alcohol by the government, Ciara asks if this is enough to tackle the issue of alcohol and substance abuse and if abstinence is the way to go?
