A group of hauliers and truckers caused significant delays and disruptions this morning on their way into Dublin City Centre to protest against the high cost of fuel.
Traffic was very heavy on all major approach routes including the N7, M1, N2, and M50.
The group, which describes itself as Irish Truckers Haulage Association Against Fuel Prices, said it wants "lower costs and lower taxes, [and that] rebates are no good."
The haulage industry fears smaller operators will be put out of business if the Government doesn't act.
What do you think about the protest? And, were you affected by heavy traffic this morning?
