Listener email: '...I also have a medical condition NDPH that causes me pain every day for the last three years. It can be difficult to manage everyday tasks as the more movement I do the more pain I suffer.   This illness has caused me to gain a lot of weight over time. Honestly the minimum weight I need to lose is 3 stone. I’m aware my weight is an issue and I keep trying to lose it but never succeed. I am a size 18. It’s also causing a strain on my partner as he finds this weight gain difficult to deal with and it consumes his thoughts most of the day every day.  I had a conversation with him recently and he said “if my younger self ever thought you were going to get this big I wouldve been out the door.  He also feels “is this it for me? is this what I have to put up with?“ My real question is  - is this behaviour of my partner of 24 years normal?  Is it fair for him to feel this way or is it just very shallow?  What do
