Lunchtime Live Hears Reaction To Eir's Chief Executive's ''Derogatory Comments''
EIR’S chief executive Carolan Lennon yesterday told an Oireachtas committee that the company made a “mistake” locating their customer care centre in Sligo.
She said that it took “longer” to train employees in the county because they were not familiar with working in a call centre.
That there was no history of contact centres in Sligo before EIR got there, which meant they were hiring local staff, many of them who came in from retail or hospitality.
Andrea spoke to Clair Rohan of Ocean FM who is from Sligo and also to Minister of State Frank Feighan.
