Callum Keane, a 16-year-old boy from Navan has been credited after saving two boys from the River Boyne yesterday evening. The two boys aged 11 and 12, were swimming in the river when they came into difficulty. A woman at the scene rang Meath River Rescue after she saw the two in trouble but when they arrived, Callum had got them to safety on the other side of the river.
