New travel rules coming into effect later this month mean that people travelling from ‘red list’ European countries will no longer have to isolate for two weeks.
From midnight November 29th, people travelling to Ireland from these countries will instead have to isolate for just 5 days and, if they then have a negative PCR test, they will be free to stop isolating.
The rule change could allow people to travel back to Ireland for Christmas under lighter restrictions.
What do you think about the idea? Do you welcome it? Would it mean family from abroad being able to return home for Christmas?
