Open For Biz On Lunchtime Live This Week Visits A Christmas Tree Farm

As part of Open for Biz on Lunchtime Live, Andrea Gilligan and Bobby Kerr visited Kavanagh's Christmas Trees in Wicklow, Newtown Mount Kennedy. Christy Kavanagh is the owner of Kavanagh's Christmas Trees and there are three generations of Kavanaghs that have worked at the Christmas Tree Farm. Their main client is garden centres and individual buyers. The christmas tree industry was kickstarted early this year due to Covid. We found out that most Christmas trees are generally 14 years old when they go to the customer. Kavanagh's do online sales of Christmas Trees which helps with their 10,000 sales a year business.
