What do you think of the Seanad? Is the voting system fair? Is it representative?  Of the 60 Seanad seatsincoming TDs and outgoing senators elect 43, the Taoiseach of the incoming Government gets to decide 11, graduates of Trinity College and the National University of Ireland, which includes the likes of UCC, NUI Galway, UCD and Maynooth, get to vote in six Senators. Graduates of all other third level colleges have no say – nor do people who haven’t graduated from university for that matter. What do you think?
