The RSA have announced Plans to “name and shame” motorists disqualified from driving which they aim to progress over the coming year, the Road Safety Authority has confirmed.
Under the plans, motorists who are banned for drink-driving, dangerous driving and other serious road traffic offences by the courts will have their personal details published on the RSA’s website.
The RSA said it was satisfied details of disqualified motorists can be published once certain procedures are followed.
What do you think of this? Is this a step too far? Do the disqualified drivers require further punishment?
