Scouting Ireland has issued an apology to survivors and victims of historical sexual abuse in the organisation this morning. The organisation has published a final report into the abuse by child safeguarding expert Ian Elliott. So far – abuse was reported by 356 victims and survivors and was carried out by 275 alleged perpetrators.
