Government is expected to approve the National Broadband Plan today.

A number of alternatives have been rejected despite the cost of the project ballooning from €500 million to €3bn.

Government are braced for criticism over the decision –  behind the scenes a number of Ministers have expressed reservations over the plan.

How important is broadband to you? Are you in a part of the country that’s currently not serviced?
