A new study shows that Ireland has the third highest weekly hours of unpaid work for both men and women across the EU, 

The Caring and Unpaid Work in Ireland study also found that women are shouldering most of the burden. On average, women spend just under 20 hours a week on housework, while men spend just nine hours on household chores.
