Parents across the world send their kids away to boarding school for a variety of reasons. But, what they may not know, is that going to boarding school can have unintended consequences. Dr. Joy Schaverien has done research on the topic.  During her research, she identified a set of lasting psychological problems in adults who were sent away to boarding schools as children.
