Former broadcaster Fergal Keane when renovating an old farm shed discovered a large batch of unexploded ordnance. Specifically, Gelignite thought to trace back to the War of Independence.  Following the discovery the former journalist contacted authorities where a bomb squad of the Irish army conducted a controlled explosion.
