Robert Oppenheimer is the name that most people would associate with the development of the Atomic bomb.

He famously invoked a line from the ancient Hindu text The Bhagavad Gita saying "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

But of course, this project involved hundreds of Scientists among the most interesting of whom, Leo Szilard, is the subject of a new BBC Podcast “The Bomb”.
