One woman on the cusp of that change is Aoife Rafferty a Galway Native and Rallycross Driver. Aoife In 2022 was selected as the first female driver into the Motorsport Ireland (MI) Rally Academy and is just back from the British Rallycross where she finished 5th place in her first-ever Rally Cross tournament.
