The Mayor of Dublin Hazel Chu has said there will be 150 new Portaloo toilets, 54 large Eurobins and 80 Barrel Bins across the City from this weekend with a specific focus on high footfall areas in the City Centre. But is it fair on young people to close down areas like the St Stephen’s Green bandstand and Portobello after the weekend’s South William Street celebrations? Henry McKean reports.
