Limiting or banning the ability of professional landlords to invest here  will worsen, rather than improve, the rental situation  so says the latest Daft.ie report.   The report reveals that the average national rent has increased by 2% in the first quarter of this year.  Joining Shane to discuss the report this morning was Economist at Trinity College Dublin and author of the report, Ronan Lyons.
