I BIKE Dublin is planning a “festival-style slow cycle” through the centre of Dublin in solidarity with Extinction Rebellion’s “Rebellion Week” starting at 8 am this morning at Pearse Street Bridge.

Protesters aim to send a message to Government by causing traffic disruption to private motorists commuting in the city.

Spokesperson for I BIKE Dublin Ciarán Ferrie joined us to explain the initiative.
