A Cork City Councillor has put down a motion calling for a separation of Church and State.
Social Democrats Councillor for Cork City, Padraig Rice, is calling for the end to prayer at the start of every council meeting and to remove the crucifix from the Council chamber. Padraig explained why to Newstalk Breakfast.
