Carbon Tax could reduce CO2 emissions by over 10%

New research from The Economic and Social Research Institute shows that Ireland’s carbon emissions could be reduced by over 10% if a carbon tax increase of €80 per tonne were introduced.

However the report also found that lower income households would be most affected by any potential increase.
