Catholic Primary School Rejects Bishop’s Sex Ed Programme

A Catholic primary school in Wicklow has said it will not use Flourish, the relationships and sex education programme developed by Irish Bishops, in its classrooms.  Lacken National School made the decision after parents protested the programme, arguing that it is “discriminatory to LGBTQ+ children and it does not correspond with the view of the State”. David Graham, Communications Officer at Education Equality gave his reaction to us on the show this morning.
