There was uproar yesterday after parents in two North Dublin Catholic schools found out their children's schools are facing a change in patronage. The switch from a Catholic ethos to a non / multi-denominational one was reported to precede the eradication of celebrations for Christian feast days like Christmas and St Patricks Day. Newstalk reporter Henry McKean got parental views outside Scoil an Duinninigh in Kinsealy yesterday evening after a meeting to discuss the proposed patronage change.
