There was uproar yesterday after parents in two North Dublin Catholic schools found out their children's schools are facing a change in patronage. The switch from a Catholic ethos to a non / multi-denominational one was reported to precede the eradication of celebrations for Christian feast days like Christmas and St Patricks Day.
