The leaders of the coalition were last night briefed by the chief medical officer Tony Holohan and other senior NPHET members among the growing number of Omicron covid cases.  The new variant is estimated to now account for 14% of cases in Ireland.  Charlie McConalogue Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine spoke to us this morning on the show.
