Ireland has not been alone in seeing a major spike in Covid cases with Europe seeing an increase of 18% in cases in the past week compared to the previous seven days.  Professor Sam McConkey Infectious Disease Specialist at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland spoke to Shane this morning.
