Ellen Keane won Ireland's first medal of the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo yesterday, claiming gold in the SB8 100m breaststroke Before he departed for Tokyo, Paralympic athlete Jason Smyth pleaded with the country to get behind athletes with the same national pride and passion that buoyed up newly-crowned Olympic boxing champion Kellie Harrington. Do the Paralympics get the support it deserves?  Mark Pollock, Endurance athlete and leadership speaker joined us on the show this morning with his view on this.
