Rushed, unsupported and unheard are some women’s experiences of the healthcare service as recorded in a new report. With maternity restrictions still in place and exclusion zones as yet absent, is it fair to say that women’s health is not taken seriously in this country? Is it time, as advocate Vicky Phelan has suggested, that Ireland appoint a Minister for Women’s Health? To discuss this further we spoke to Jennifer Whitmore Social Democrat TD.
