Former Senator, TD, and Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Dr Katherine Zappone formally announced her candidacy for Seanad Éireann in December last year.
Ciara recently sat down with Katherine and began by asking her about running for the Seanad and if it was a big decision for her given she has been away from Ireland for a number of years.
