According to a city council report released last week, if councillors fail to approve a €300 million development plan for Dublin’s O’Devaney Gardens today, there will be a five-year delay in the provision of 1,500 homes.
But some councillors are calling for the deal to be renegotiated or even scrapped altogether in favour of more public housing and cheaper affordable units.
Ray McAdam, Local Councillor and Fine Gael Group Leader on Dublin City Council and Gary Gannon, Social Democrats and Dublin City Councillor join us to discuss the plan.
