"EV supports benefit the wealthy" recent reports finds

Current grants for electrical vehicles in Ireland “privilege high-income people”. 

 That’s according to a new study by researchers at Trinity College and Queens University Belfast, which found that low-income and other marginalised groups are being left behind in the transition to an EV future. 

Brian Caulfield is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering at Trinity College Dublin and lead author of this research and he spoke to Newstalk Breakfast this morning.
