The electricity supply in Ireland is going to be tight for the next three or four years, Transport Minister Eamon Ryan has said. It’s also been reported that a report from Eirgrid - due to be published this week - is expected to warn that increasing energy consumption by data centres will outpace the capacity of the system to generate more electricity in the coming years if the current growth rate continues How will we resolve our electricity supply problems?
