The Environmental Protection Agency has said that Ireland is unlikely to meet its emissions reduction targets for 2022.  If this trend continues, are we in for more extreme weather events that will put the latest string of storms to shame, and what is in store for our climate in the precarious years to come?  For more on this Newstalk Breakfast spoke to John Sweeney is a Climatologist and Professor Emeritus at Maynooth University.
