46 new Covid-related deaths have been announced by the Department with a further 3,086 more cases reported.  It comes as the country set a new record for patients in ICU during the pandemic with 158 in intensive care.  Associate Professor in the School of Biochemistry and Immunology at Trinity College Dublin Tomás Ryan joined us this morning.
