A UK children’s charity has warned that parents who are abrupt with their children and choose low-key celebrations may be guilty of “mild neglect”.   The NSPCC has issued guidance for child protection social workers, known as graded care profile 2, to score parents whom they suspect of neglecting their children on a scale of one to five.   For more on this we spoke to Aoife Lee, parenting coach at Parent Support (parentsupport.ie) .
