Ahead of Shane Ross’s forum to discuss the future of Irish football this Friday, one group has come together to give their vision for Irish football for the next 25 years.

The Visionary Group which features Niall Quinn aims for Ireland to reach the World Cup semi finals in 2038 and for a League of Ireland team to reach the Champions League group stage by 2027.

Former league of Ireland player Kieran Foley is the author of the group’s ambitious plan and he joins us now. Kieran the Report entitled ‘The Strategic, Commercial, Operational and Governance Review of Football in Ireland’ is extensive, tell us what you have come up with?
