Landlords will be able to hike rents by multiples of new rent control caps if they have not increased rents in several years under new rent legislation being brought forward by Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien. That’s the report in the Irish Independent today and for reaction, we spoke to Financial analyst Karl Deeter.
