Limerick City and County Council is calling on the Minister for Health to bring in legislation to create "safe access zones" around abortion services, after a unanimous vote on Monday. The motion came after reports of ongoing anti-abortion protests outside University Maternity Hospital, Limerick, and other healthcare settings. The motion was brought forward by Labour councillor for Limerick City North Conor Sheehan and Conor spoke to us on the show this morning.
