Irish Boycott protests have been going on but the Eurovision say it's non political, it’s about the music. Irish entry Sarah McTernan has received some backlash on social media from protesters. She says she is just a singer who wants to sing. The Israeli Palestinian conflict is historical and very complex and has being rumbling on for years, not as simple as suggested by some.
