Yesterday we spoke on the show about the Government’s controversial decision to remove the €500,000 salary caps for some bankers, as well as reinstating bonuses of up to €20,000.
Since then, Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe has come out to defend this decision despite a torrent of backlash in the Dail yesterday afternoon and he joined Shane this morning on the show.
