It was this day last year that rocked the American political establishment to its core when protestors stormed the US Capitol in protest at Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump in the 2020 US election.  So 12 months on, was Donald Trump to blame for that riot, and could we even see him make a run for the presidency in 2024? 

Mick Mulvaney is the former chief of staff for Donald Trump who also resigned as the US special envoy in Northern Ireland in protest at Trump’s handling of the crisis and he joined Shane on the show this morning to look back on that day.
